Sales Associate and Optometrist Assistant

Seeking pro-active, high energy, well-rounded, responsible sales specialists to join our team. The right candidate would thrive working in a medical environment, have a high interest in eye care, provide excellent customer service, work well with all age groups including the elderly and children, have attention to detail, and have outstanding interpersonal relationship skills.

We will train the right candidate and we offer plenty of opportunities for career advancement.

Responsible for conducting optometric pre-testing; frame and lens selection, eyeglass adjustment. Responsible for preparing the patients to be seen by the doctor. Help to prepare and maintain patient records and examination room area. Also responsible for cleaning duties.

Job Specifications:

· Excellent communication skills required

· Experience in sales highly preferred

· At least High School Graduate

· Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar field an advantage but not required

· Effective team player. Relate well with co-employees, patients and customers.

· Must have maturity, diplomacy and tact in addressing complex situations and handling occasional demanding patients.

· Outstanding oral and written communication skills.

· Strong ethics and a high level of personal and professional integrity.

· Computer literate and very highly proficient in using MS office programs.

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

Salary: starting at $16.00/hr plus generous commission with opportunity for career advancement and promotion. All employees will receive generous sales commissions after they're fully trained which is usually 3-4 weeks. Every other Saturday is required although the day has shorter hours.
